POLITICAL ISSUES:

In October 2008, I voted for Sen. John McCain for U.S. President (mail in ballot). It was mostly his selection of Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska that secured my vote for him, as I felt he was too liberal. I hoped she would be a moderating factor on the side of conservatism. However, Sen. Barack Obama won the election.
