My Poems from December 2005
Get Well Janetta
Janetta, Dear, please get well soon.
We wish you had a big balloon.
We hope you're soon not feeling ill.
We're sorry that you took a spill.
Just so you know, we think you're great.
So hear our plea, Recuperate.

Bad Santa
A Santa from some northern latitude
Displayed his reproachable attitude
When requiring his steed
To "get up" some more speed
In spite of his obvious fat-itude.

Christmas Break
I hope that now at Christmastime
Your bosses won't think it a crime
If you would rest and take your ease
And do some things as you should please.

Shining Star
For me you are a shining star
Floating in the sky afar,
A treasure in the heaven's high,
My "twinkle, twinkle" in the sky.
For God has given you to me
Tho' far apart we seem to be,
And when the heav'n and earth are one
So too, will we, when God's work's done.

To All My Friends
To all my friends at Christmas-time
I write this hopeful, happy rhyme:
May all good things be yours this day,
May you be blessed in every way,
May all you do reap rich success,
And you and yours find happiness.

THANKS G.R.I.P.
(Girls Riding Independent & Proud)
Thank you
gals for coming here,
Handing out the gifts and
cheer
Arriving as an angel
host,
Never thinking of the
cost,
Kindnesses that seem so
rare,
Saying that you really
care.
God will bless you, I am
sure,
Raining blessings, sweet
and pure,
In a time when you're
distressed,
Paying you as you have
blessed.
