57 Years Together
Fifty-seven years together -
What a match you've made!
The fact of that accomplishment
From my mind will not fade.
To stay together to the end,
To bear all Life may ask,
Is such an awesome exploit,
And such a worthy task.
I know without God's hand in it,
It cannot e'en be done.
For though I've ventured four times now,
I've failed as oft' as won.
God's blessed your marriage, made it strong.
May God continue still
To strengthen bonds of holy love,
And guide you in His will.
