GOD HEALS
God leads us each, by how we are.
Our paths may seem to wander far.
Down in fertile valleys low.
He plants us where we best will grow.
Each one of us is cared for there
And so we seek the sunlight fair.
Love never fails, it's never lost,
So trust God's love, when tempest-tossed.

God, Help Us
God, help the father out of work,
So he may find employment sure,
Though it be president or clerk.
Until then, help him to endure.
God, help the mother in her pain,
'Cause Mother Eve was once beguiled.
Let not her suffering be in vain.
May she know her newborn child.
God, help the child whose parent dies.
Be thou his parent in their stead.
Away wipe every tear he cries.
Provide a pillow for his head.
God, help the lady crying out,
Who, in her room, by others near,
"Get away from me," she's heard to shout,
As though a phantom torments her.
God, help us all, where e'er we be.
Whatever straits Thou find us in,
May we at all times cling to Thee,
That we may one day heaven win.

SATURDAY
Showers passing, breaks with sun.
Any day like this is fun.
Time to play or rest is here.
Unwind, relax, and do what's dear.
Rewind the memories in your mind.
Dial a friend and say what's kind.
All day long, until it's through,
You can choose what you will do.

Rummy
Now Rummy is a game of cards
Where Luck is said to rule.
I don't believe it, not one bit!
You think I am a fool?
There is a force that causes things
To happen as they do,
And probability is what
Men use to see it through.
But I have seen coincidence
Beyond what seems the norm.
And drawing cards is not the only
Way I've seen it's form.
My life is full of oddities.
While others' seem to fit
Some likeness to the normal path,
Mine shows a perverse wit.
God holds the cards. He shuffles them.
He deals them out to us.
He knows which ones we'll draw in turn
And if we'll smile or cuss.
But still, it's always up to us
What we decide to do,
If we enjoy the game, or not,
Or use the cards we drew.

Johnnie's Place
Johnnie's Place is really great.
He serves a very special plate
To fit your dietary need
With food that looks good,
and indeed,
Will satisfy your mind and heart,
And every other hungry part.

FATHER-1
Father was my hero then,
And still today he is my friend.
Tomorrow, though it has not come,
He lives today to show me some.
Every day, in every way,
Reminding me that I'm OK.

FATHER-2
Fishing with Dad,
Always makes me glad.
Talking alone,
Having him phone,
Even silence, it seems,
Radiating beams.

FATHER-3
Father gave his all for me.
All he had was mine for free.
Till I was old enough to go,
He taught me what I'd need to know.
Even now, recalled this way,
Rightly honored on this day.
