My Title of Liberty

"In Memory of our God, our religion, and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children." - Alma 46:12

My Poems from November 2002

When Is Christmas?

I know, as sure as morning comes,
That Jesus wasn't born
The same day that we celebrate,
And call now Christmas morn.

But sure, as sure as I exist,
I know He came one day.
And lived the kind of Life He did
To show us all the way.

He suffered all the Pain He did
And died the Death He died
That we might all escape that Fate,
So He was crucified.

And surely we must celebrate
The fact that He was born.
And since we don't know when it was,
Then why not Christmas morn?

And we may well consider too,
On waking every day,
Was this the Anniversary
When Jesus came our way?

Let's celebrate His Life and Death
In all we say and do
By showing that we honor Him
All our journey through.
